Dans ma cuisine
From the 1930s to today, the kitchen has always been a source of inspiration for artists. These photographs will invite viewers to see everyday objects—often devoid of apparent aesthetic value—in a new light. They will also help us understand how and why the kitchen as a space, with everything it contains, has become a subject of artistic and cultural interest over the decades.
Curated by Françoise Morin, director of Les Douches la Galerie, and Éric Rémy, the exhibition promises a rich and diverse menu exploring materiality and strangeness, magic and mystery. As for the ingredients, they come from around thirty of the most renowned photographers. A selection sure to whet your appetite!
